MEANT TO BE LOVED AND MADE TO LAST
The mugs everyone has been asking for are finally here – and there are just 600 available. These Handmade Wooden Kuksa Mugs are hand-carved from birch chunks in Ylitornio, a small town in the Finnish Lapland (where Santa Claus is from… seriously though). Traditionally crafted from a birch burl, which makes them extra strong – like chaga and Finnish people – Kuksas are carried as personal drinking cups in the Northern regions of Scandinavia. They are durable and perfect to use while hiking and foraging in the deep, dark Northern forests (or braving the wilds of NYC and LA). Creating these mugs requires 20+ phases of work, making them a sought-after collector’s item to be passed down through generations (just like the Finns do).
