“Mushroom Juice?! How the heck do you make that?”

Juice, no. But mushroom in liquid form, yes. It sounds like a weird new concept, but indigenous people have actually been drinking their mushrooms for thousands of years in the form of teas and soups. Even though it ain’t the simplest thing to get mushrooms from the forest to your cup, it’s not rocket science either.

Here’s how it's done:

To break it down a bit further:

First, we pick the mushroom fruiting bodies from wild forests or harvest them from our mushroom farms, where the growing conditions are as close to their natural habitats as possible.

The mushrooms are then dried and the extraction begins in a tank filled with purified water.

After hours and hours of boiling in water, all of the hot water-soluble goodies have been dissolved from the mushrooms into the liquid.

Next up is alcohol extraction in non-GMO corn-based distilled alcohol to make all of the fat-soluble compounds bioavailable.

These liquid extracts are combined in evaporation tanks, where most of the water is removed while the active components are being concentrated.

The concentrated extract is then driven into a huge spray-drier that uses pressurized hot air to remove all the last bits of liquid and moisture, resulting in pure, 100 percent mushroom extract powder. No need to ship water around the world!

This extremely bitter and potent mushroom extract powder is then combined with other ingredients to make it taste great without compromising the extract’s effectiveness or quality. Finally, each batch goes through extensive in-house and third-party laboratory testing to further ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Drop us a line if you want to check out the test results yourself. Personally, we are only willing to heavy-dose products when we know they are clean and safe, and we hold those same high standards for our customers. We like to have a good time, but there are no compromises made when the #funguys are in the house!
